As The World Turned Out

I've learned a lot this summer, I think.
I've learned to know what's important and what's not.
I've learned to control my emotions and thoughts a bit better, because sometimes people just aren't worth thinking about.

You can change your world, but you can't change everybody else's unless they let you. And not everyone else is going to want your changes.
So believe in what you have, believe in what you can do and believe in what you want.

I want to sing, and I realized today as I was walking home from seeing a friend, that I'm not going to love anything else.
I will struggle, and hurt, and starve, and beg so I'm able to sing for the rest of my life.

To Do:
Do the one thing I need to before moving on
Fall in love
Become Famous
Die Happy

When you have goals and dreams, it feels like (at least to me) they are not as achievable as we'd like them to be. But when you put all these huge things into a simple To Do list, it seems a little easier.

So, goodbye summer and hello grade 11. It seems like every thing's moving so fast, but remember, every day is a new beginning, so make the most of it. I plan to enjoy school, even physics... Because who knows; the little things could change the rest of your life, might as well keep your options open.
