I sometimes remember being little.
Not caring, not knowing that soon enough, you're going to be scared of more than spiders and monsters under your bed.
Now it seems I'm scared of everything. But I guess that's how it is.
But what we as teenagers don't really realize, is that we are still so young.
We may be much older than we used to be and have a lot more to deal with, but we're not even close to really growing up.
There's time to figure out what we want, what we need and what we hope and dream for.
Sometimes I have trouble remembering this myself, but I try to as much as I can.
I know I for sure have thought that I shouldn't do certain things because I should be "mature" and "act my age".
But that's such a load of crap.
We have this time of our lives where we're discovering so much and are able to do so much without many consequences, so why don't we use it? Don't be stupid or anything, be safe, but fun is certainly in order.
Please do yourself a favour and don't try to grow up too fast.
We're kids, with time. So use it. And I'll try my best to not be hypocritical, because I know I have been.
Be who you are and say what you feel
Because those who mind don't matter
And those who matter don't mind
Learn something new everyday, whether it be in school, in the real world, from your parents, about your friends, or maybe something new about yourself. Wonder about what is impossible and how you can make it possible. Dream about what makes you smile. Love what and who makes you happy. Believe in yourself and your abilities. Hope for everything. WIsh for the world.
